Susan G. Komen announced the More than Pink Walk will be held on Aug. 28 beginning at 7 a.m. at Willow Island at Alliant Energy Center. Proceeds from the first in-person event in two years will fund research and provide direct support to people facing breast cancer. The event will also offer a virtual walk component for those who are not comfortable with the in-person event.
