Breakthru Beverage Group, the beverage wholesaler formed by Charmer Sunbelt and Wirtz Beverage, was established on Jan. 1 in markets across the country, including Wisconsin. The operations of the company and its affiliates will span 19 markets, and the company will represent a portfolio of premier wine, spirits, and beer brands totaling more than $6 billion in annual sales.
In Wisconsin, Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin will now operate as Breakthru Beverage Wisconsin. Leadership and brand portfolios will remain unchanged and the company will also maintain existing facilities and continue to employ more than 225 people statewide.
