Madison police are investigating two Cottage Grove Road liquor store break-ins that occurred Sunday morning, according to NBC15.
The first incident took place at Harley’s Wine & Spirits, where the owner says the main door was hit with a rock, triggering alarms and scaring the suspect away. No stolen items were reported.
The second incident occurred at City View Liquor, just two miles down Cottage Grove Road, where security footage shows a suspect breaking into the business and stealing a few liquor bottles before fleeing.
MPD is still investigating but says the two incidents are likely connected.
