Brat Fest, an annual celebration of bratwurst and live music traditionally held over Memorial Day weekend, has been rescheduled for the weekend of Aug. 28. Festival organizers announced the postponement citing concern and changes related to COVID-19.
Milwaukee’s Summerfest music festival, which was scheduled to begin on June 28, is being postponed until September to prevent the spread of COVID-19. An announcement from the organization stated the festival will now be held over three consecutive weekends, Sept. 3–5, 10–12, and 17–19. Summerfest touts itself as the largest music festival in the world with 12 stages and more than 1,000 performances every year.
