Michael Johnson will launch his new book, “The Audacity to Lead: From the Projects to the C-Suite: 7 Mindset Lessons on Love, Family, and Turning Adversity into Impact,” on Oct. 16.
Johnson is the CEO of the Dane County Boys & Girls Clubs who has worked in the private, government and nonprofit sectors for over 20 years. Over the years, he has secured over $250 million in funding and secured $21.6 million for Madison high schools.
A launch party will be held Thursday at SPARETIME at 7415 Mineral Point Road. Community members are invited to enjoy a fireside-style Q&A, social mixer and book signing. RSVPs aren’t required but recommended as there is limited space.
The event is from 6-9 p.m.
