The Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County announced a partnership with Little John’s Kitchens, which creates quality meals using excess food, according to the Sun Prairie Star. The two organizations’ reciprocal agreement will give Little John’s Kitchens access to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County kitchens to amplify Little John’s programming.

Little John’s Kitchens will create meals for Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County members. Other areas which will be supported through the partnership include:

  • Little John’s Evening Meals on Wheels program, which delivers thousands of meals to seniors and individuals with disabilities;
  • The provision of meals twice per week to a local homeless encampment on Dairy Drive;
  • The Boys and Girls Clubs’ distribution of over 30,000 meals annually;
  • Little John’s Lunchbox in Madison Children’s Museum, a “pay what you can” café; and
  • Little John’s collaboration with Feeding the Youth, which provides food to families and redistributes surplus food.
