Madison-based Widen, a content management company, is set to be acquired by software firm Boston-based Acquia, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The sale is anticipated to close in the next month but details for the agreed-upon purchase were not disclosed. Acquia has nearly 2,000 employees worldwide and Widen employs 135, with 110 located in Dane County. Widen is located at 6911 Mangrove Lane.
