A Room of One’s Own bookstore, at 2717 Atwood Ave., has been honored by Publishers Weekly, naming owners Gretchen Treu and Wes Lukes to its Star Watch program, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The award honors up-and-coming people in the book business and was presented to Treu and Lukes in a virtual ceremony on Nov. 15. The prize has traditionally awarded a trip to Germany to attend the Frankfurt Book Fair, but due to the pandemic, $2,500 has been awarded instead.
