Bloom Bake Shop, a successful local bakery owned by Annemarie Maitri, will be baking for a greater purpose at its Middleton location as of June 1.
Maitri closed the Middleton location last November to contemplate the tiny bakery’s future and she’s decided to reopen and rebrand it as Bloom Bindery, offering sweet treats and coffee, as well as books for sale or just for thumbing through (thanks to Mystery to Me bookstore) according to a story in The Capital Times.
A portion of the Middleton shop’s book sales will go toward area literacy programs.
