To honor October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Madison’s second annual “Boo Walk” will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 5609 Medical Circle, according to WMTV15. The event raises funds for breast cancer research and awareness.
The “Boo Walk” is open to all. A group photo for those battling breast cancer and survivors of it will be held at 10:15 a.m. in the parking lot. The walk will follow beginning at 10:30 a.m. and includes a one-mile and two-mile option.
Registration is open now through the day of the event and, beyond the walk itself, includes a donation toward breast cancer research, a walk shirt, a goodie bag, and other treats.
