A strike lasting over three months has come to a close after Boeing defense workers approved a new contract on Thursday, according to CNBC.
The strike has delayed production of F-15 fighter jets and other programs.
About 3,200 workers went on strike on Aug. 4, asking for better wages. The new contract includes a $6,000 ratification bonus and a 24% general wage increase over five years. Average base pay will rise from $75,000 to $109,000 over the five years.
Previous offers had been rejected, with the workers’ union saying they failed to address concerns.
