The Blue Marlin restaurant is set to close on June 30, ending a 29-year stint on the Capitol Square.

Owner Chuck Taylor, 66, who has held the restaurant for the past 10 years, is retiring.

The Blue Marlin will be replaced by a new restaurant, Hamilton’s on the Square, at its 101 N. Hamilton St. location, pending receipt of a liquor license.

Joshua Kregness, 28, previously an owner of the Free House Pub in Middleton, said the new restaurant will feature creative lunch fare and late night dining.
