A dream has become a long-awaited reality for Lisa Peyton-Caire, CEO of the Foundation for Black Women’s Health, which for years had to move between temporary locations.
Its new permanent space at 6601 Grand Teton Plaza on Madison’s west side is open for business, celebrating and inviting black women to improve and take ownership of their health, according to a report in the Capital Times.
Providing a support system for black women, the foundation will also provide fitness programming, nutrition, yoga classes, and more.
