Black Restaurant Week’s Jamboree event rescheduled for this weekend

The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce announced that the $5 Food Taste Jamboree, which had been scheduled to kick off Black Restaurant Week but was postponed due to severe weather, will now be held on Aug. 17, Channel3000 reports.

The rescheduled event will take place at the Madison Labor Temple, 1602 S. Park St., from 2-6 p.m. It will feature dishes from a variety of Black-owned restaurants and food vendors local to Madison.

As the name suggests, attendees will be able to try food for $5 per taste.
