Madison College will host the Black Men’s Health & Wealth Summit at its Truax campus, 1701 Wright St., on Feb. 8 from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. This free public event will highlight the unique challenges and disparities Black men face, providing a platform for building transformational skills and knowledge.
Dane County Circuit Court Judge Everett Mitchell and financial advisor James B. Bell Jr. will be guest speakers.
Participants will explore topics such as health care, financial literacy, job creation, entrepreneurship, and personal development. Attendees will leave equipped with tools to improve their health, establish sound business and financial strategies, and connect with resources, including technical assistance and private organizations focused on business development.
