Madison’s Black Chamber of Commerce recently debuted its first Black Business Directory, which features an alphabetized listing of over 200 black-owned businesses in Dane County.
The directory also lists 55 African-American organizations, 24 black churches, and 14 published black authors, providing a comprehensive list of the county’s leading black-led institutions.
The directory is being distributed to individuals, public officials, and civic organizations, though copies are limited. Anyone interested in receiving a copy should email their name and mailing address to the Black Chamber’s distribution center at umojamagazine@sbcglobal.net.
