As reported in April, a group of east side small business owners is interested in purchasing the Star Liquor building on Williamson Street and reopening the liquor store on Sept. 1.
Star Liquor, which had been a Willy Street mainstay for 46 years, closed in April. If financing comes through, John Conowall, Michael Randall, Troy Armbruster, and Josh Swentzel hope to purchase the building at 1209 Williamson St., according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
