Biomat USA will be closing its Madison facility at 317 N. Henry St. on Nov. 11, 2022, according to a notice sent to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. The closure, expected to be permanent, will affect 47 employees. Biomat USA is owned by Grifols and operates 43 plasma donation centers in the United States. The company will also be closing its Kenosha and Milwaukee centers.
