The Big Ten conference and the University of Wisconsin will play only against other Big Ten teams this fall, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

Concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic and the excess travel involved with nonconference play contributed to the decision. Teams involved include men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer, and volleyball.
