Amid COVID-19 concerns, former vice president and current presidential candidate Joe Biden is expected to accept the Democratic National Convention nomination from his home state of Delaware, according to a report from the Associated Press.
The DNC also announced that other speakers, originally planning to attend the convention in person, will not be traveling. Biden and his campaign have held online events in Wisconsin but he has not yet visited the state.
