President Joe Biden outlined new vaccine requirements last week, ordering 100 million Americans to get vaccinated, according to a story from Associated Press. The new federal vaccine requirements for private-sector employees, as well as health care workers and federal contractors, are an effort to curb the surging COVID-19 Delta variant. Biden criticized the tens of millions of people in the U.S. who are not yet vaccinated, despite the availability of the vaccine. Republican leaders said Biden was going too far in trying to strong-arm private companies and workers and legal challenges will come.
