A plan by former Gov. Scott Walker has been rolled back by the Biden administration, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
The administration has withdrawn approval of a plan that requires some childless adults in the state’s main Medicaid program to work to receive benefits. The work requirement for BadgerCare is said to risk significant coverage losses and harm due to the COVID-19 pandemic and job loss hardships to beneficiaries.
