Bemis Co. reported first quarter income of $44 million, or 42 cents per share, which is down 14% from the $51.2 million, or 47 cents per share, reported in the first quarter of 2011.
Revenue fell slightly to $1.3 billion from $1.32 billion.
The Neehan-based company maintained its earnings guidance for the full years, projecting profits of $2.05 to $2.20 per share.
