Madison-based Bell Laboratories announced plans to build a new facility in the North Towne Corporate Park in DeForest. Its current headquarters is on Kinsman Boulevard in Madison. The company, which produces rodent poisons and traps under the Tomcat name, will build a 300,000-sq.-ft. facility on 32 acres as it anticipates 50% growth in production of those items over the next several years.
Last October, Scotts Miracle-Gro purchased Bell Lab’s consumer rodent-control business. The resulting partnership agreement allows Bell Labs to continue profiting from the sale of Tomcat products for the next 20 years.
