A special fleet of electric bikes will hit the streets in June as part of Madison BCycle’s Art Bike Program, according to a release from the organization. The program aims to highlight local artists and their supporting sponsors to bring awareness to nonprofits in the community.

More than 30 of Madison BCycle’s ebikes will display local artist’s work to bring attention and awareness to causes represented by mission-focused Madison nonprofits. Each art bike will have unique messaging and a QR code that directs to a dedicated webpage where riders can learn more about what each bike represents, the cause, the nonprofit supported, artist bio, and the sponsor. Madison BCycle will showcase the art bikes alongside sponsors, artists, and nonprofits on June 10 with a free public event at Garver Feed Mill from 4:306:30 p.m.
