Increased interest and ridership on traditional and e-bikes have caused the Waterloo-based bike-sharing system BCycle to see increases in specific markets from 20% to 186%, according to a report from Wisbusiness.com.
Madison had a 20% increase in ridership while ridership in Las Vegas increased by 186%. Now, as social distancing is encouraged, BCycle reports that the trend is growing nationwide as people look for alternative ways of travel in place of public transportation.
