Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County (BBBS) is nearing its mentor goal as its The Big Draft campaign nears its end, WMTV15 reports. The statewide initiative is aiming to recruit 700 new mentors for children.

In Dane County, the goal of the campaign — which started in February and will wrap up on April 26 — was to recruit 100 new mentors this season. Tracy Anderson, the nonprofit’s community partnerships manager, said the organization has almost reached its goal but is still seeking further mentors. She also said just over 500 volunteers have signed up across Wisconsin.
