The Bayview Foundation’s plan to redevelop and expand its Triangle neighborhood that’s bordered by Regent Street and West Washington Avenue received a WHEDA award of $2,629,840 in state and federal tax credits and final design approval from Madison’s Urban Design Commission, according to a statement from the organization.

Bayview’s plans include replacing worn affordable housing with colorful townhouses and apartment buildings, public art installations, and playgrounds, gardens, orchards, and gathering spaces. Plans also include and expanding both the number of residential units and the capacity of the community center to reach outward in service to the broader community.
