Madison’s Bassett Street Brunch Club is temporarily closed as the business undergoes an interior renovation and menu refresh, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. The restaurant, at 444 W. Johnson Street, is on the ground floor of the Hampton Inn & Suites and is set to reopen next week.
The updated food and cocktail menu will retain several original options while introducing some new offerings.
Renovations to Bassett Street, which opened in October 2013 and has not had many updates since, will include new floors, lighting and furniture akin to those at Food Fight Restaurant Group’s former Avenue Bar and DLUX restaurants. The space will get a new layout, finishes, back bar and coffee counter as well.
The refreshed brunch menu will be served from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and a revamped dinner menu from 4-9 p.m. Bassett Street will also extend its hours until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, offering a late night snack menu.
