Bankers push Congress to replenish already depleted PPP funds

Rose Oswald Poels, president and CEO of Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA), stated the organization is strongly advocating for Congress to immediately authorize new Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funding to meet the payroll needs of small businesses struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.

PPP has been successful in getting money into the hands of small businesses quickly, but the funds allocated for the program have already dried up in a short time.
