Tutu School, a boutique-style ballet school franchise for children ages 18 months to 8 years old, will open in Sun Prairie on Sept. 5.
The franchise, founded by Genevieve Custer Weeks, a Madison native, teaches young children basic motor skills, rhythmic awareness through movement, ballet technique, and storytelling while performing to classical music.
Stoughton-native Alyssa Gunsolus, franchisee and accomplished dancer, will leave Madison Ballet to run the school.
