The owners of Chocolaterian Café on Atwood Avenue in Madison have decided not to reopen their east side restaurant after a February electrical fire devastated the building. The company’s Facebook page does offer good news, however.
A GoFundMe campaign that helped the company stay afloat was shut down on April 23 because the owners have “stabilized enough that we no longer need operational financial support.” They are also working with east side businesses that might agree to provide Chocolaterian’s products.
The company’s Middleton location is open for business, but the idea of opening another east side location looks slim at this point.
