B-Corps, or “benefit corporations” can now be registered with the state Department of Financial Institutions, according to a story in The Capital Times.
Gov. Scott Walker signed Act 77 into law in November, making the state the 34th to allow benefit corporations focused on having a “material positive impact on society and the environment.”
