The Will Brown Aviation Academy is hosting its fifth annual Camp Willa at Dane County Regional Airport from July 7-11, working to inspire youth from underrepresented communities to pursue aviation careers, WMTV15 reports. These include careers as pilots as well as a variety of jobs within the airport, including airport security, air traffic control and sales.
This year’s camp will host 20 children from the Madison area and offer five full days of learning, hands-on activities, presentations, airport tours and the opportunity to fly in an airplane with a WBAA pilot.Â
