A number of summer events are coming to the Greater Madison area over the next few days, according to The Capital Times. Community members can soon enjoy:

  • WaunaFest, held Thursday, July 25–Sunday, July 28 in Waunakee’s Centennial Park, with a carnival, a teen dance, a beer tent, an arts and crafts show, a 5K or 10-mile run, a parade, and more;

  • The 2024 Disability Pride Festival, taking place Saturday, July 27 in Madison’s Warner Park from noon–5 p.m., with art, performances, and products made by people with disabilities (volunteer opportunities available);

  • Atwood Fest, coming to east side Madison Saturday, July 27–Sunday, July 28, starting at noon each day with free musical performances, a KidsFest, MakerMarket, Community Art Project, and food and craft vendors; and

  • The Streets of Sun Prairie: Night Market, held Thursday, July 25 at 1 Cannery Square from 5–9 p.m., with over 50 vendors offering produce, crafts, clothing, and more as well as local bluegrass band Soggy Prairie.
