Ascendium Cares doled out 10 $100,000 Good Neighbor Grants chosen by its employees in its latest round of awards.
Ascendium employees chose to award the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County, Black Girl Magic Educational Services, Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, Centro Hispano, Just Dane, Madison Reading Project, College Possible Wisconsin, Dream Alive and South Dakota Foundation for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
“Good Neighbor Grants continue to be a great way for our employees to give back to the communities where they live and work,” Brett Lindquist, Ascendium’s vice president of communications and community engagement, said in a statement. “Ascendium is honored to support these very deserving organizations, recommended by our employees. We look forward to seeing how the organizations use these funds to strengthen their communities and positively impact the people who live within them.”
Ascendium Education Group is a nonprofit organization funding initiatives across the U.S. that help learners from low-income backgrounds find upward mobility and much more.Â
To date, Ascendium has awarded over $4 million in Good Neighbor Grants to 100 nonprofits in Wisconsin and beyond.
