Area firms receive biotech convention grants

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., together with the UW Research Park and BioForward, awarded 25 scholarships to Wisconsin companies so representatives can attend BIO International, the largest biotechnology conference in the world. Fifteen of the 25 scholarships went to area firms.

From Lake Mills: Aztalan Engineering, Inc.

From Lodi: Biology Based Pharmaceuticals, LLC

Recipients will receive one-on-one partnering with international companies and access to BIO’s business partnering system. The conference will be held in San Diego June 23-26.
