Wisconsin Dialysis clinics on American Parkway and on Fish Hatchery Road have a new majority owner. Under an agreement with UW Health and UnityPoint Health-Meriter, which jointly own Wisconsin Dialysis, Fresenius Kidney Care will control 70 percent of the two clinics and Wisconsin Dialysis will control 30 percent, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport.
The clinics will be renamed Fresenius Kidney Care Fitchburg, and Fresenius Kidney Care American Parkway. The agreement was effective Oct. 1.
Fresenius Kidney Care operates 2,400 dialysis facilities across the country. UW Health doctors will continue treating patients at both facilities.
