Moderna Inc.’s experimental COVID-19 vaccine is the second to show promise with extraordinarily strong early results, according to a report by the Associated Press.
The company states preliminary data from an ongoing study shows the vaccine to be 94.5% effective. Pfizer’s vaccine announced last week is looking to be 90% effective. Both companies are on track to seek permission from the FDA for emergency use of the vaccine in the U.S.
