The Milwaukee Business Journal reports that American Family Insurance has entered into a major 10-year partnership with Milwaukee World Festival Inc. to make American Family the first presenting sponsor of Summerfest in the festival’s history.
Terms of that agreement were not disclosed but reportedly the deal includes the construction of a new 23,000-seat amphitheater — the American Family Insurance Amphitheater at Henry Maier Festival Park.
Sarah Smith Pancheri, the vice president of sales and marketing for Milwaukee World Festival, the organization that produces Summerfest, will discuss the history of the music festival and share insights into the challenges and opportunities that came with growth over the past 50 years during the next IB Icons in Business breakfast, Wednesday, March 15.
Summerfest celebrates its 50th anniversary this summer.
