The pair of Thomas Bjørn and Darren Clark won the 2025 PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship that took place this past weekend at TPC Wisconsin, marking the first team victory in the event’s history.

This is the first year the American Family Insurance Championship played in a two-man team format. Teams played best ball in Rounds 1 and 3 and scramble in Round 2, competing for $3 million. The winning team is sharing $600,000 ($300,000 per player).Second place saw a four-way tie of teams at 28 under, including Alex Cejka and Søren Kjeldsen; Doug Barron and Dicky Pride; Steve Flesch and Paul Goydos; and Steve Stricker and Mario Tiziani.

The annual event raises funds to benefit American Family Children’s hospital and other local charities.

Just prior to the competition, the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation announced the recipients of scholarships funded by the American Family Insurance Championship. Two area high school seniors, Roland Kahl of Madison East High School and Reagan Raemisch of Waunakee Community High School, will receive $10,000 each to reach their educational goals. The foundation has funded scholarships for local high school students since 2019.

Additional information is forthcoming regarding the funds raised by this year’s American Family Insurance Championship and the local charities set to benefit. Since its inception, the event and associated events have raised $19.7 million for the American Family Children’s Hospital and other organizations.

The 2026 American Family Insurance Championship will return to TPC Wisconsin June 1-7.
