Recognizing the need to attract and retain employees, American Family Insurance announced a $5 per hour increase in its minimum wage to $20, up from $15, according to a company release.
The increase is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2020 and will impact nearly 1,700 of its 13,500 employees nationwide in customer service, administration, and other positions.
The new wage applies to all American Family group companies across the country.
