AmFam foundation accepting grant applications

Applications are being accepted through Sept. 8 from nonprofit organizations for the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation, according to a statement from the foundation. The grants will be funded through 2022 American Family Insurance Championship proceeds. All nonprofit organizations are eligible to submit applications through the grant portal and preference will be given to those that have a strong focus on families and children and/or serve communities in south-central and southeastern Wisconsin. Since 2016, the event has raised nearly $12.6 million distributed through more than 560 grants to the American Family Children’s Hospital and other local charitable organizations. Recipients for this year’s proceeds will be announced in December.
