American Family Insurance and the Milwaukee Brewers/Brewers Community Foundation have established the Fearless Dreamer Scholarship Program for graduating high school seniors currently residing in Milwaukee, according to a release from the company. The STEM-focused program will award five scholarships each year, worth $2,500 per year with renewal up to four additional years, for a total of $12,500 to the recipient.
The scholarships are endowed by American Family Insurance and the Brewers Community Foundation. Milwaukee Brewers outfielder and American Family brand ambassador Christian Yelich will also contribute $35,000 to the scholarship program. Applications are being accepted through April 26 and are open to graduating seniors who live in Milwaukee and intend to enroll in a full-time two- or four-year accredited university.
