A long-time floral greenhouse closed for good on Dec. 24.
America’s Best Flowers owner Carol Knapton, still grieving after her husband, Ed, passed away on Nov. 6 from cancer, decided to close both retail locations, one in Cottage Grove and another in Edgerton. The couple had discussed the idea of closing for some time before Ed’s death. The couple ran the business for 41 years, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport.
