American Girl announces office, warehouse relocation

Middleton-based toy manufacturer American Girl plans to relocate its corporate offices and consolidate its warehouse operations, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The company has not yet confirmed whether the new location will be based in Madison or elsewhere in Dane County but plans to move within the year. Warehouse operations will be consolidated at the 400,000-square-foot DeForest distribution center, and at two other Mattel-owned facilities by June. Currently, the company uses two warehouses and distribution facilities, totaling 600,000 square feet, in Middleton. The relocation and consolidation will affect 55 warehouse and operations employees currently working in Middleton.
