Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) recently launched new nonstop service to Washington, D.C. on American Airlines. The twice-daily flights to Reagan National Airport (DCA) offer a convenient option for those looking to travel to our nation’s capital.

The addition of service to DCA comes as Milwaukee gears up to host the Republican National Convention in 2024, with travel from D.C. anticipated to increase due to the event.

The flights will operate on a dual-class CRJ-700 aircraft, featuring in-seat power ports and free entertainment streamed to personal devices. American also offers daily nonstops from MKE to Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte, Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Chicago. On Nov. 4, American will begin nonstop flights to Miami every Saturday.

Flights from MKE to DCA leave at 6:13 a.m. and 1:39 p.m. and arrive at 9:15 a.m. and 4:29 p.m., respectively. Flights from DCA to MKE leave at 11:34 a.m. and 7:50 p.m., arriving at 12:58 p.m. and 9:21 p.m., respectively.
