After hiring 1,000 employees this spring for its new Kenosha fulfillment center Amazon is at it again. The company says its planning to hire another 1,000 full-time positions at the facility.
According to an article from BizTimes.com, the Seattle-based retailer is seeking full-time fulfillment associates for all shifts at the 1.1 million square foot fulfillment center. It will make on-the-spot job offers at a recruitment event at the Kenosha County Job Center on July 16.
Fulfillment associate roles start at $12 per hour, but the pay varies depending on position and schedule. Employees are offered a competitive rate of pay and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with employer match, stock, and bonuses. Employees become eligible for the Career Choice program after one year of employment, which lets them return to school for courses in in-demand fields, regardless of whether they match roles available at Amazon.
