Amazon has hired more than 700 new employees in Wisconsin to meet the surge in demand from people relying on Amazon’s delivery service during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company announced.

New employees will fill a range of roles, from picking, packing, and shipping customer orders to delivering packages. The company says many of those hired were impacted by recent layoffs in other industries due to the health crisis.
