The Alzheimer’s Association will hold its Walk to End Alzheimer’s event on Sunday, Oct. 2, at James Madison Memorial High School, 201 S. Gammon Road. All funds raised through the event will further the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. In Dane County, more than 8,000 individuals age 65 and older are living with dementia. The event opens at 8:30 a.m. with the opening ceremony and walk scheduled for 10 a.m. Online registration is available for the event.
